Comfy and wonderful hotel, welcoming staff, loved the stunning location short walk to the intercity for 4 nights in late July 2010, surrounding areas, and the tourist attractions. Had an outstanding breakfast, a modern room with an excellent view of the local mountains...

When it became necessary to extend the accommodation, the price was almost doubled. I had to look for another hotel.

Perfect location by the train station-ideal for my solo adventure! Clean, comfy room with a fridge that saved my snacks. Great spot for a quick escape to the city center.

The announcements from the train station were louder than my last date!

Location - right next to the station and short walking distance to the city. McDonalds and bakery next door for breakfast or a quick meal. Free street parking possible outside of working hours and weekends. Complimentary transport tickets upon arrival though we didn't use them.

It is a simple hotel. Good and comfortable enough for short trips or for those only looking for a place to shower and sleep. Breakfast is not included.

The hotel is very conveniently situated on the platform of the cental station. The room was very quiet and we were not aware of any noice whatsoever.

We really enjoyed having a free public transport pass for our stay, made exploring the area super easy. Plus, being right next to the train station was convenient.

Room is very clean & tidy. Facilities in the room is very clean. It is worth to stay base on such cheap price range. Also, it is just near train station but not noisy. Go to the town is only around 3 minutes walk. Staff is helpful too.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will definitely coming again. Friendliness of staff, great breakfast and comfortable room.... and above all the good value. Wish all hotels were like this. Excellent

I stayed at intercityhotel freiburg for one night, and it was great! The hotel is a modern building right next to the main train station. The reception staff allowed us an early check-in, a lifesaver since it was raining. My room was clean and well-appointed. The luggage storage was helpful for our late transport plans.

The hotel is pretty basic, there is substantial noise from both trains and kids going to the (late night open) McDonalds right next to the hotel. While the hotel feels clean and neat, the carpets feel old, everything is very basic, there is a charge for Wifi (€ 5 for ½ h!). Reasonable minibar, srrvice OK. Parking €9 / 24 hrs next to the hotel. The concept seems to be close to the railway, and town centre, but not much extra. Felt a bit overpriced for the standard and quality, breakfast an additional € 13 per person, we skipped.

Great location near transport, but services took too long, and room wasn't clean at check-in.

very close to freiburg main station ,nice hotel but is was hot in the night so we have to open window then noisy from young people all night long but location is good from old towm just walk around 15 min.and hotel staff was so nice too

Being right over the city train tracks, it's too noisy to have the window open, which kept it too hot....
